Dear colleagues,

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 7th Congress of the Croatian Trauma Society with international participation, which will be held in Opatija from April 16 to 18, 2026.

The Congress will bring together leading national and international experts in the fields of orthopedics and traumatology, as well as professionals from other disciplines involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of trauma patients. The goal of the Congress is to exchange knowledge, experiences, and the latest advancements in the multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

The scientific and professional program will include plenary lectures by distinguished national and international speakers, thematic symposia, and panel discussions, along with presentations of new technologies and scientific research.

The Congress is intended primarily for orthopedic surgeons and traumatologists, but also for anesthesiologists, radiologists, nurses and technicians, specialists in occupational and sports medicine, physiatrists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of trauma patients.

The 7th Congress of the Croatian Trauma Society with international participation will be accredited by the Croatian Medical Chamber for both active and passive participation. Participants who have paid the registration fee will receive a verified Certificate of Attendance.

Passport and visa

Participants from outside the EU must hold a passport valid for at least six months prior to the start of the congress. Please check the visa requirements on the website of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. If you require an entry visa, please allow sufficient time for the processing of your application.

Upon request, the Congress Secretariat will send an official invitation letter exclusively to registered participants of the Congress.*

Credit cards, currency, and exchange offices

The official currency in Croatia is the euro (€). Exchange services are available at the airport, in hotels, exchange offices, and bank branches.

Visa and MasterCard cards are accepted at the registration desk, ATMs, hotels, top restaurants, and shops in the city.
