Fiume Tours d.o.o., headquartered in Rijeka, Ul. pod Kaštelom 5 (Fiume Tours), respects privacy and protects personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Narodne novine 42/2018). Fiume Tours controls all personal data provided to us and is responsible for its storage and processing in a fair, lawful, secure, and transparent manner.

Use of the website and cookies

In order for the website to function properly and to allow continuous improvement aimed at enhancing your browsing experience, our web server stores certain data on your computer or mobile device that may be considered personal data. What personal data do we collect and store?

We collect and store your personal data for the purposes of registering for events for which we act as the technical organizer and for providing our services. This data may include your name and surname, title/qualification, address, employer’s name, email address, and telephone number.

By providing your data and information, you guarantee that they are accurate and that you fully agree with our Privacy Policy and the terms stated therein.

Fiume Tours does not collect or process special categories of personal data.

Why do we need your personal data?

We collect and process your personal data in order to respond to your inquiry, enable your registration for events, and provide our services such as accommodation and transportation arrangements.

With whom do we share your personal data?

Vaše podatke dijelimo s organizatorima događanja na koja ste se prijavili te pravnim ili fizičkim osobama koje vam pružaju uslugu za koju ste se prijavili (npr. s hotelom koji ste odabrali za smještaj).

Fiume Tours does not process your personal data for marketing purposes, nor does it use your personal data for any other commercial purpose — we do not sell, rent, disclose, or make it available to any third-party legal or natural persons.

How long do we retain them?

Personal data collected through registration forms will be retained for one year from the date of collection.

Your rights regarding personal data

As a data subject, you have the right at any time to request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal data, as well as to restrict or object to certain types of data processing. Anyone who believes that their rights guaranteed by the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) have been violated may file a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP) www.azop.hr.

Useful information

Passport and visa

Participants from outside the EU must hold a passport valid for at least six months prior to the start of the congress. Please check the visa requirements on the website of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. If you require an entry visa, please allow sufficient time for the processing of your application.

Upon request, the Congress Secretariat will send an official invitation letter exclusively to registered participants of the Congress.*

Credit cards, currency, and exchange offices

The official currency in Croatia is the euro (€). Exchange services are available at the airport, in hotels, exchange offices, and bank branches.

Visa and MasterCard cards are accepted at the registration desk, ATMs, hotels, top restaurants, and shops in the city.

Time zone

Croatia is in the GMT +1 time zone. Daylight saving time begins on March 29, 2026, and ends on October 25, 2026.

Note: This procedure is intended solely to assist participants who require a visa or permit to attend the 7th Congress of the Croatian Traumatology Society. The Congress organizers are not responsible for the outcome of your visa application.
